I’ll concede to the smallpox vaccine being a good thing, but not any other. You should research the polio vaccine and the disease. It was a con from the start. If you take the CDC as the experts, then you are a bigger dunce than I thought. They have been proven to make up statistics to further their agenda. FLU VACCVINES AS AN EXAMPLE. Have a good day.

Do you doubt the statistics?

None of my kids ever got measles, mumps or chicken pox.

Was it because they were vaccinated or was it just a fluke?

I brought up rubella on another thread. German Measles (Three Day Measles) is a mild disease often asymptomatic. Complications are rare with one exception, a baby in the first trimester of gestation.

I would be hard pressed to understand why anyone would refuse this vaccine for their child knowing what Congenital Rubella Syndrome will do to someone else’s child.

My husband's uncle was sterile because he caught the mumps from my brother-in-law.

I have no problems against mandatory childhood immunizations. I am old enough to have had the communicable diseases of childhood. All one has to do is look at the causes of death in children before the availability of vaccines against the childhood communicable diseases.

My cousin developed meningitis as a result of the measles. She was hospitalized for months. I knew people who had lasting effects from polio & women who gave birth after being exposed to German Measles during the first trimester of pregnancy. Most of the severely developmentally affected children were put in institutions as a matter of course.

None of the examples above were rare before the availability of vaccines. Vaccines are a good thing. Sooner or later the table will tilt and we will see a return to the complications from childhood diseases because more and more parents have refused these vaccines for their children.
