Yea.. my grandmother had a wood stove with a waterback all her life in her little house.. it provided all the heating.. she do all the cooking on it and of course the water back for the hot water... if i recall it took a about two cords of wood a year...

2 cords is about 4 pickups and that is about 250 bucks.

That’s pretty cheap heat for a heating season.

This is probably the real reason the epa is going after wood. They probably get that much in taxes from the 3000 that the utilities would charge for the same amount of heating.

And people buy wood from folks who cut wood, and I’ll bet they don’t know much about taxes.
