I paid $237/ton delivered to my house in southern NH in September. I am burning Energex pellets out of Quebec this year. The govt. Regulated wood pellet quality a few years back. Therefore, there is an ash content printed on every bag.
New England wood pellet out of Jaffery, NH is another brand I have had good luck with. Harman pellet stoves will burn pretty much any pellet. They are the best US brand on the market, IMHO. They have been around a long time. You can get parts quickly if needed and they are quiet. They are also one of the more expensive brands. There are also some high quality European manufacturer's, but they are harder to get parts for and they are typically designed to heat smaller homes like most Europeans have.
