I loved Israel but it is REALLY expensive and living conditions are not exactly like what Americans are used to.

It shocked me.
If they’re not conservative (as Americans define the term) they will get to AZ and complain about it there, like New Englanders complain about, say, North Carolina after they’ve moved there to get away from the nightmare that NE has become. Yes, the Nazis deported Jews from the islands. A chilling fortaste of what would have happened if we’d been invaded.
Of course, the islands were never properly invaded by us, we bypassed them in 1944, and the Allies felt it would be wasteful to invade and divert resources from other more important landings and ops.
p.s Jersey is lovely. Beautiful, nice people (rich of course its a famous tax haven for millionaires) and famously rich and lovely food.
