Muslim Day to be held at Oklahoma Capitol

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Muslim Day at the Capitol will be held at the end of the month for members of the religion to learn more about state government and become more familiar with their lawmakers.

The Oklahoma chapter for the Council on American-Islamic Relations organized the event for the first time this year.

News of the event did encounter backlash on social media, however.

“It’s kind of depressing to see such hatred and negativity, especially about practicing a right that’s fundamentally American,” said CAIR Executive Director Adam Soltani.

Comments were made on social media such as “I’m sick of our society catering to these people,” and others calling the event ”national terrorist day,” or saying “Islam is not a religion.”

“I really wish they would get to know a Muslim, because the faith isn’t represented by the people who commit criminal actions.”

Our political elite has sold out our country bringing the Enemy inside. It’s no surprise the enrmy forces try to use our system against us. It’s their best available strategy At least until they get a few million more foot soldiers inside our cities and towns. Then, watch out. They’ll move their violence and intimidation that they practice today on our college campuses into our streets. Like they’re already trying to do in NYC, Boston, SF and LA.
