Exactly! When lies like these are told by someone in such a powerful position, you have to wonder how in the world that person could think they would get away with it. But people in the MSM tell lies every day. And the reality is that they normally do get away with it. Sure, the real truth comes out in the more conservative media, but it is routinely ignored, denied, dismissed, or mocked by the MSM and those on the Left. Brian Williams sincerely believed that he could lie and lie and lie, and it would never be a problem for him. The real question is: Why is Brian Williams NOT getting away with his lies NOW? Why are his lies even an issue? I seriously doubt that it is because those in the MSM have working consciences and desire the truth. Obviously he has some serious enemies in the media.

It was Brian Williams who replaced him at NBC. I bet Tom did not like it that a young punk was taking his job and now he is getting his payback.
