Does the barbarism have a logic? (is destabilization of Jordon the goal?)

Jordan is a more vulnerable target because, unlike the U.S., it can be destabilized. For nearly a century Jordan has been a miracle of stability — an artificial geographic creation led by a British-imposed monarchy, it has enjoyed relative domestic peace and successful political transitions with just four rulers over four generations.

Compared to Lebanon, Syria and Iraq, similarly created, Jordan is a wonder. But a fragile one. Its front-line troops and special forces are largely Bedouin. The Bedouin are the backbone of the Hashemite monarchy, but they are a minority. Most of the population is non-indigenous Palestinians, to which have now been added 1.3 million Syrian refugees, creating major social and economic strains.

Most consequential, however, is the Muslim Brotherhood with its strong Jordanian contingent — as well as more radical jihadist elements, some sympathetic to the Islamic State. An estimated 1,500 Jordanians have already joined the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria. Others remain home, ready to rise when the time is right.

I think it’s a pretty safe bet that Obama has an eye towards using his terrorist buds to destabilize Jordan. Especially now that King A has actually acted like a real leader right in Obama’s face.

Did you see that pic? That picture of King Abdullah in his fatigues was as much aimed Obama as it was at ISIS.

And Obama knows it.

The answer is yes. All the Moslem states are falling, except for Iran and Saudi Arabia.

Yes. Burning a man alive and crushing him under rubble makes perfect sense.

Given the queer-ann requires that the punishment fit the crime. And

Given that the pilot was accused of using rockets to burn people alive and collapse buildings on their bodies.

It's the perfectly islamic thing to do.

(I wonder why adulterers are stoned to death and not f'd to death?)

“Unlike the US, Jordan can be destabilized”. True. The US cannot now be destabilized by the islamonazis. They’ve already destabized (and seized power in) the US

He’s destabilized the rest of the Middle East and snubbed Israel so of course he’s after Jordan too.

Yes, the barbarism of ISIS does have a logic to it. It is the whole Nietzsche thing, the idea of the Superman. It is to show that the ISIS man is capable of anything without remorse. I shy away from using pop culture references, but remember Col. Kurtz’s dialogue with Capt. Willard in “Apocalypse Now.” Kurtz was hit with the realization of the absolute will of the Viet Cong, remember why. Their willingness to hack off the arms of children vaccinated by American SF medics. It dawned on him that he could do anything with men such as these, thus he set up his own thing to fight the enemy on its own level. ISIS’ barbarism has a visceral appeal to millions of f***** up young men all over the world.

I remember hanging out with some new recruits of foreign countries in the Army. none of them were muslim, but they seemed fascinated by the barbarity of terrorists. It is real indeed.
