President Barack Obama stirred outraged with his speech at the National Prayer Breakfast Thursday, comparing the atrocities committed by ISIS to those of Christians "in the name of Christ."
"Unless we get on our high horse and think that this is unique to some other place, remember that during the Crusades and Inquisition, people committed terrible deeds in the name of Christ," Obama said. "In our home country, slavery and Jim Crow all too often was justified in the name of Christ."
"So it is not unique to one group or one religion," Obama said. "There is a tendency in us, a simple tendency that can pervert and distort our faith."Appearing on "The Steve Malzberg Show" on Newsmax TV, conservative commentator Pat Buchanan fumed at Obama comparing the extreme barbarity of ISIS to the Crusades. I have, so have others. Self defense is justified, as is just war.
Three distinctions:
One, yes, some people have done bad stuff while associating themselves with Jesus. But they end up quitting it after a while. Unlike islam.
Two, it can be debated whether those who did bad stuff in the name of Jesus were really followers of Christ. In islam, true believers do the worst stuff.
Three, those who do bad stuff in the name of Jesus are going against his teachings and example, and scripture. Unlike islam.
I remember him mentioning that as a Youth he used COCAINE....when He had The Money.... for it.
He most certainly has the money for it now...and does indeed appear to be a rather susbstantial USER of same.

That will not happen because of "gimmes" that he has nurtured and increased. I fear there is no turning back. My only solace is that when history is written about his "fundemental change" of our beloved America, Obamba's policies will be seen as the complete destruction of a nation that was once the envy and model for the World.

Being as the Obungler will never condemn Islam, he rarely misses an opportunity to condemn Christianity. Typical and predictable I would say.
How did they even let this Islamist into the Prayer breakfast? His history regarding the crusades is all screwed up The Muslims sacked and pillaged and far outnumbered the Christians.
