If you were a ME ‘ally’ of the US in ISIS’ path, would you believe what intel told you they possess in their armory? Would you wonder where are those manpads and Ghaddafi’s arms went? Would you feel you have the US’ backing in attacking ISIS yourself? Would you wonder why ISIS is getting rich off all the highjacked oil and bank robberies?
And you are right on target. Ask yourself why we even keep any bases in Turkey? Erdogan is a radical muslim leader and supports ISIS. Pull out of Turkey and help build up the Kurdish state with all of the arms and support we can give them. Putin would not object because he wants ISIS to fail and Bashar al-Assad to succeed. Putin has his proxy war in Ukraine and Obama is giving Iran and Russia a free hand. Obama’s ISIS failure is Putin’s win. Israel and the Kurds our only true allies in the region are left out and now Jordan is in play and Obama don’t like it. That is a good thing up until world war III starts. There is a rumor that the Jordanian pilot was tortured and gave up names and addresses of his fellow F-16 pilots and now Jordan fears terror attacks in their country. This is why Abdullah is out front and center on going after ISIS now to rally his country.
