Heard a blurb on the cbs-affiliated radio in Philly about a would-be robber who was killed by his intended victim: The robber had a plastic gun, the victim had a real one. Right now, there are no charges to be filed against the survivor. But given today’s political climate, that could change in the next half hour.
I'm okay with this. Criminals who rob innocents are doing long-term damage even if the weapon is not real. The threat is real, and a permanent solution to so serious a problem is a good thing.
