More and cheaper housing for the Gimmee Class?
Big Bird Blobbio has a (sob) "Heart of Gold."
Heck, must take an enormous amt of digitalis to keep Big Bird Blobbio's heart functioning.
Sometimes I actually worry (snort) about what would happen if Big Pharma runs out of digitalis to keep liberal Hearts of Gold beating.
"Al, I hate your lily-livered black guts. If I was Mayor
of Ferguson, I'd say shoot to kill the little black punks."
==============================================
Ut oh--- Sen Schumer runs out of digitalis.
"I dont give a s*** about poor black peoole."

Goes hand in hand with the ‘Tiny Houses’ movement. Trying to make larger homes obsolete. They will make anyone living in comfort in a larger house feel guilty by their excess. Never underestimate the ability of a Democrat to cast simple comfort as a luxury.

"The mayors mission: to convince New Yorkers that his plan to build more, and build higher, can improve the quality of life for residents across all income levels, even as many have come to associate construction cranes and high-rise buildings with the out-of-reach opulence of the upper class. "Just as an aside, New York City has a lower median household income than New York State. Boith New Jersey and Connecticut have higher median household incomes than New York State.

Fact: Manhattan has 1 million fewer residents than in 1950.

Part of Agenda 21 and the Safe Streets Act of 2014? It’s always someone’s agenda these days...

His family home in Park Slope, Brooklyn. He also owns rental houses nearby.
He lives in the governor's mansion, Gracie Mansion. He could convert that into at least 37 apartments to house a few hundred tenants.

Mr. de Blasio intends to make affordable apartments a requirement, not an option, in those developments Good luck. Many have tried to regulate the free market; all have failed.
To: dennisw
“more affordable “
just like the affordable care act took money from those who earn it to give it to the non-producers.

All each one had to do was take a nice warm shower bath before going to his new residence.

How many is Wilhelm going to crowd into the basement of his mansion? Heh. Or in his dacha?

Oh great. Another set of “liberal” housing projects, which are known in the real world as warehouses for the poor, drug plantations run by the dealers, and self-imposed jails where the denizens are locked in at night for their own safety.
Comrade DeBlasio - YES I’M GONNA DO THIS and if you don’t like it, you will go to jail.
To: dennisw
Huh?
We used to just call them the projects.

Welcome, comrade, to new New York apartment! You'll enjoy spacious accommodations!
Meet and get to associate with new friends!
You and your family will enjoy the latest in collectivist ergonomic features!
Why bother having to walk from bedroom to dining room?
Children will love it!
