I’ve heard various stories how Ventura had belonged to a Navy force that got merged into the Seals.
The problem wasn’t that Ventura was asserting some sort of logical association. The problem was that he was acting like an ass, like he had to brag how he was supposedly better. Or if having done so and having his head handed to him, he did not know when to quit.

You guys probably know better than I.
This guy says Ventura was a SEAL but certainly no hero and definitely a loser and a jerk.
