And it is why, as a Nation, we will never again stand up to tyrants in Government. The public at large has been sissified and feminized to the point they refuse to do anything for themselves. The reason the sheep herds are protected is because eventually the "protectors" intend to use them for food.

Like the county commissioners passing an ordinance prohibiting discharging a firearm within 400 yards of an occupied dwelling.

From what I have read, backyard ranges were common up until about 1950, even in New York State.

Shooting in urban areas has gradually been demonized for decades.

It is hard to say if these ordinaces reduced accidents with firearms.

A lot of short range shooting is done with reduced loads.

Firearms accidents today are at the lowest level in a hundred years.
