Honestly, if conservatives are to be taken seriously, there is only one choice: Cruz. Palin and Walker are great, in their own way. But Cruz takes conservatism to the next level. He would absolutely destroy any competition in a debate format, and he does so in a way that can appeal to the IQ-challenged among us. My only reservation with Cruz is that he still is a Republican; other than that, he is the ideal candidate.
It’s like having Ronald Reagan in the mix and we’re arguing over whether Bob Dole or Howard Baker should be our nominee.

You can bet your bottom dollar that Article II, Section I, Clause V of the Constitution will suddenly become the focus of the (D)'s AND the media if Cruz is the (R) nominee.

Born a dual citizen, with dual allegiance owed [1] [2] [3] until just last year.
Nobody paying attention believes he's nothing short of a true conservative.
However, he's got serious eligibility issues which will be challenged.
Cruz is fine and of course I would vote for him but he is a one-term Senator and that will be a huge negative to the American people who just went through a one-term President. No Cruz is not Obama but I doubt they are in the mood for another on the job type President. Cruz needs to run for Governor or something to bone up on how to run something. He is a policy guy but we need a hit the ground running blue collar type and that is Governor Walker. Sorry but everything I just typed is true to the average voter. Here we are pretty insulated on how the American public thinks. They want experience.
