By government I presume you mean the Federal Government, ICE, in particular. So the central government fails at its task. Should state and local governments check on whether or not someone applying for section 8 housing, public education, and the various types of assistance is eligible to be in the US or not?
I don’t Understand how that applies; we’re talking about basically deputizing private citizens into ICE because the central government refuses to do its job.
I think we should fix the original problem.
