You are correct, we all have personal health histories and influences that help us decide. There are also long term risk/financial/health issues with side effects from vaccinations. They aren’t made up, and side effects are clearly listed on the vaccination package inserts.
I’m all for informed consent, if, after doing the research you feel it’s the best for your family to vaccinate - that’s your choice as a parent.
I feel differently, and that’s my choice as a parent.
But you can see on this thread how rude and personal people get because of the informed choices I make for my family. I’m consistently surprised that on a forum that most people are not for government intrusion, they are ok with this particular intrusion.
You are right. Everyone should be free to make their own choices as long as we each weigh the consequences and make the decision with the gravity it deserves. It is tough to know what to do when your kids’ health is involved and the path may not be as clear as we’d like.
