Does this Stephen Fry even know that Oscar Wilde was a baptized Catholic who received the Last Sacraments on his deathbed?

He might want to fancy himself George Bernard Shaw instead.

One of my favorite Oscar Wilde quotes, and my first tagline ten years ago, is, "Sentimentality is loving people more than God would."

I think this is so ironic in relation to the "gay rights" debate, and especially in light of Oscar Wilde's own very public denouement and prison term for the "love that dare not speak its name."

And George Bernard Shaw was a vile Fabian socialist who had no respect for life. Makes me see Pygmalion and My Fair Lady (though I adore Audrey Hepburn) in a whole different light.
