ur Glorious Premier Obozo decides to close the remainder of the ANWAR desert to oil exploration. This oil reserve holds more than thirty years of energy for America and would further stabilize the price of gas, Worse.....if no more oil is available from ANWAR....
the Alaskan Pipeline will have to be closed.
Because of the low temperatures...the line requires a steady flow of oil to remain open

Good catch. From what I have read once the temperature gets to a certain level I think it's around 300,000 barrels per day they have to close the pipeline.It's not there yet but drops every year.Sad to because there is so much oil and nat. gas up there.
