She’s American. She happened to be in Iran when both of her American parents were working there. They left Iran when she was 5.

I detest the woman but she’s no more Iranian than John McCain is Panamanian or Ted Cruz is Canadian.
Her father, Vernon Jarrett, was a long time columnist for the Chicago Sun Times. He was a race baiter who, in my opinion, hated White people.
But, she is not Iranian. She was born in Iran, yes. But her father and mother were American citizens. Her father was a doctor and her mother was a teacher.
