In 1856, the Whig Party ran former president Millard Fillmore for president of the United States. Fillmore had last run in 1852; he'd been denied the nomination as the party fell apart over the issue of slavery.
In an attempt to bring the party back together that year, the party nominated General Winfield Scott, who promptly imploded in the general election against Democrat Franklin Pierce. "We are slain!" shouted Representative Lewis D. Campbell of Ohio. "The party is dead, dead, dead!" Free Soiler Charles Sumner wrote, "Now is the time for a new organization. Out of this chaos the party of freedom must arise."

A new party will form, to embrace the concept of individual freedom under written(Not Federal Judge dictated) Constitutional law of limited highly decentralized Government.
The Faithless republican party will collapse as their base abandons them and the RINO’s who have thou fraud and decent kinged themselves to act as democrats will soon enough find themselves leading a corrupt minority.
It is better to be victory and fight for victory than just anther form of defeat. We have presently the advantage that the leftst agenda is leading to Demographic, cultural, and economic collapse. The Surivers will either die as their country falls apart around them or repent and join us.
Althou we will no doubt run for victory, our real fight will be for independence, We will join with the left in the tearing down of Federal Government powers, as to weaken Washington morally and most importantly practically enough for State level rebellion to rise and take advantage of the vacuum. Establish a country of practical freedom, and individual responsibility, in all the lands that follow our battle cry for freedom.
But to get there the Federal leviathan must be shattered and degraded to the point where it is no longer strong enough to threat our freedom.
Given time, the left’s own hate for Military and police, will give us the means to do exactly that, so long as we focus that means on Washington and stoke their hate to include the corrupt Federal injustice system.

We here at the GOPe want open borders for unrestricted immigration, more visas for foreign tech workers, keep Obama care, cut corporate taxes, and shelter income for the elite. We plan to reach across the aisle to make deals, give the Obama administration everything they want with token opposition, and make sure government manages the masses securing the dominate position of the new aristocracy.
We will shut down any conservatives and make sure those small government,2nd amendment, and anti abortion rubes are shuffled to the sidelines. We would like to thank the yokels for giving us both houses of Congress but the Republican Party is a top down organization so we'll take it from here. You just keep sending your checks and come out to vote in November and let the people who know best run things. We know our base voter is ignorant and prone to religious superstition so we'll pat you on the head every two years and tell you we'll try to represent you and then go back to getting things done in Washington for the people who really matter and trust us it ain't you.

Ben Shapiro would do better in radio if he can get rid of his co-host Brian Whitman who constantly interrupts and will support anything the democrats want.

Just about the best thing that could happen to the American political system is for both the Republican and Democratic Parties to implode.

The Republicans did such a good job of replacing the Whigs that they have become the Whigs.

It’s all about having balls, it really is. My best friend growing up with me was right there working for Reagan, he said Ronnie would “joke” about nuking countries like Russia or Libya and he wouldn’t know if he was kidding or not. It was that attitude that changed the world. The war on terror would end tomorrow if we had that kind of mentalily. Think about this: One more terror attack and we drop the bomb on Mecca. There is not a chance in hell another terror attack would ever happen.

The Whigs imploded with Fillmore because Fillmore agreed to the Compromise of 1850. This infuriated the Northern anti-slavery Whigs. Remember Fillmore was Zach Taylor's VP. Taylor wanted nothing to do with the Compromise. Taylor was of the mindset to get the Civil War going a decade earlier. He leaned toward coercing the Southern states to stay within the Union. Taylor died in office before the bullets could fly, and his VP Fillmore agreed to the Compromise of 1850. The Republican Party was formed by not only anti-slavery Whigs, but also anti-slavery Democrats. A few years after the Whigs imploded over slavery, the Democrats imploded over slavery themselves in 1860. The extremists among the Democrats couldn't stomach Douglas on popular sovereignty. They wanted the extension of slavery in the territories to be complete.

I know you know, but I bet you would get a lot of blank stares if you asked anyone what the Whig Party stood for. It is interesting how the Whigs and Democrats differed. In a nutshell, the Democrats at the time were dead set against any Federal spending on infrastructure, they called it internal improvements. While the Whigs were proponents of the Federal government spending on infrastructure programs, not to create jobs, but to increase the prosperity of business. Neither party would be able to fathom our times, where the Federal government spends the vast majority of its money on transfer payments of various kinds. It would not make any sense to them, be they Andrew Jackson or Henry Clay.
