Jeb’s still going to have problem with the Huckster.
The Huckster won’t hurt Jeb. He’ll hurt Cruz. Talking to a friend the other day. He’s a strong social conservative, incensed when I told him about the GOP killing the abortion bill. Financially well off, and a bit of a fiscal hawk. Strong gospel evangelical Christian. He began touting Huckabee. He believes in Jesus.
I didn’t argue with him. Just told him to check out Cruz.
Huckabee has the southern gospel conservative vote and those should be Cruz voters. They won’t be excited about Jeb.
Remember the 2000 ‘race.’ W had the nomination all sown up months before the earliest primaries and caucuses. Jeb is trying to the same as he knows his $ won’t buy OUR primary votes.
