When liberals see the world they see how things “obviously” should work if “people would only” (fill-in-blank.) They are blinded to alternative views and will not listen if they’re offered. They know that if they can just enact their policies that everybody will suddenly see their brilliance and jump on board. For example, I’m fairly certain that although Hillary had access to countless Russian speakers that she kept her Reset button idea close to her chest as she couldn’t bear to have it shut down by an underling who couldn’t see her brilliance. While the Reset button might have resonated with people who knew about (Staples?) campaign using the button, the Russians had no Staples store and therefore had likely never heard of it. I saw her Russian counterpart’s reaction and he looked really annoyed, probably because it confirmed he was dealing with an amateur.
