He was in Vietnam the same time as I was but fabricated at least one of three purple hearts to get out of there after 90 days. As you document he then went to meet with the Communists and then on a jihad before Congress and the White House to bad mouth US forces in Vietnam. In 2004 when Kerry was running against Bush for election, I went from NM to DC to demonstrate for the veterans and against his election ("Kerry Lied" rally, September 12, 2004). I just happened to meet John O'Neil at breakfast that morning and he was appreciative of those who put their lives on hold for a few days to support his (and others) attempts to make the American people aware of the truth about John Kerry.
