I really don’t know what Rush did to pee in your cheerios, but your assertions are utter horse puckey and I warned you not to continue to insult him in posts to me, so here ya go..
Methinks you are one of those who resents wealth and has determined that all wealthy entrepreneurs are evil capitalists.
That would explain your misunderstanding of what conservatism is.
Having made a visit to your home page, it is clear to me that you view the world through a very cloudy lens and have a distorted view of capitalism. In point of fact, your apparent definition of crony capitalism seems to be linked to evil doers when in fact it is linked to the State or to government. It has nothing to do with evil. Unless you believe all capitalism is evil or you believe that all governments are evil.
As such you see evil everywhere and particularly with the wealthy capitalist. Must be tough to be you.
Actually it is you who is the threat to speech and manipulator of opinions. Not Rush. Your assertions have absolutely no relationship with the truth and you hide it under a veil of reason and faith.
Everything you reference with regard to the relationship between capitalism, government and evil is explainable by Christian doctrine. That the world is fallen and evil, although unequally distributed, is potentially behind everyone’s motives outside of Christ.
No worldly (secular) ideology is broad enough or powerful enough to explain the age old problem of man, how he organizes his society and what the role of evil is.
That’s all I’m getting at on my home page. Be sure you think about it clearly before coming to a strong conclusion.
I mean no insult to Rush. I’m really only saying what he has already said—that he isn’t motivated to advance conservatism but to achieve as much personal success as possible. It isn’t an insult—it’s a repetition of what Rush has explained.
And once this is established about his motive, there are necessary factual (not emotional) conclusions to make. One of these factual (not emotional) conclusions in particular might—if Rush himself were ever to gain insight into it—influence him to reconsider his priorities. Who knows. Anyway what I’m talking about is the fact that Rush is no different from rinos in that he chooses personal gain over what’s good for the country. Given the fact that with his voice he could push a real conservative over the top in the presidential primaries, if he applied what he claims is his true political belief to his daily comments on the primaries.
