Yeah, well, I get tired of the false idea that Bush promoted the false idea that Iraq was responsible for the 9/11 attacks. The reason for the Iraq invasion was concern that Iraq would make its WMDs available to AQ for future mass-casualty attacks.

Yeah, there was some mention of Saddam’s sponsoring of terrorist activities, such as paying bounties to the widows of suicide bombers and such. However, that wasn’t the main point of the case that was made for war, and I don’t remember anyone seriously trying to connect them to 9/11.
