Pretty much like the first dozen or so chapters of Isaiah.

The kingdom of Judah had no idea the deportation to Babylon was going to come, even though Isaiah would prophesy that later in the book.

If God did not spare His own people, how can we think we will be treated differently?

The first three chapters of Isaiah smacked me in the face when I was saved in 1981

Even back then I could see the children and women ruling over us ... God discovering the secret parts of women ... the walking with tinkling ... the mighty men removed from the secular and religious scene ... I saw it all ... and became frightened to the point of enlisting in His army

God forgive me I've been AWOL too many times
