“Now, the insurance programs available are so circumscribed by regulations, that they have become prohibitively expensive in many instances, or there are such high co-pays that the individuals and their families are essentially uninsured until their expenses have become catastrophic in scope. To say nothing of the severe curtailment of services delivered, or the dreadful reductions in compensation given to the providers of the health services.”
Yep. My insurance went up and my coverage went down.
Thanks Obama!
My old policy, the only real “deductibles” I had were in major medical. You had co-pays for doctor visits of course, and still do. At least they call them co-pays. What they are is partial payment for the bill you get from every service that is provided. Insurance covers basically nothing until I’ve met my $2,000 deductible.
I’m now 53 y.o. In the past I rarely went to the doctor. But I have a couple of things I need checked out. Just aches and pain type things...except I have what I think is some pre-cancerous lesions on the side of my head. I’m sure that’ll use up $2,000 real quick...
So, my coverage went UP $120 mo. and I have to pay $2,000 yr. before I get anything in return. Obama care is costing me a minimum of $3,440 a year.
Thank you sir, may I have another!
Probably even higher than you think since you will pay an additional 20% in co-pays for any services after you reach that $2000 up front deductible.
