That number may be an estimate of Henry and Elizabeth's reigns combined. They would be the people they wanted out of the way and prepared political retaliation laws in order to remove them.
It would be like Obama going after the TEA Party and putting Lois Lerner in charge of imprisoning and executing every one they could get their hands on.

This number is from a medieval scholar I know who is rarely wrong - he has said it was Henry alone not the other Tudors. But you may be right, I’m no expert on Henry. I was shocked when I first read this statistic but it may very well be true.
