Don’t know if you watched the Sons Of Liberty on the History channel, but regardless of any license they took in making the show, it deeply saddened me to watch and be reminded what we have allowed to be squandered. What a disgrace to those that put it all out there to make this country what it once was. Sad, sad state of affairs.

Yes, I saw most of it – and was surprised that they actually included the part where Gun CONFISCATION partially sparked off the Revolution.

I would note the near obsession Brits had for confiscating arms from citizens. Gen. Gates blew a gasket when his subordinate failed to secure them.
