The speakers plan to sue Obama over his immigration executive action may capture support of even those lawmakers who back reform.
Even Republican supporters of immigration reform arent inherently opposed to a potential congressional lawsuit against the Obama Administration over the presidents executive action on immigration.
Speaker John Boehner announced Tuesday morning that he was exploring ways to sue the White House on behalf of the House of Representatives over the controversial November executive action, which allowed up to 5 million illegal immigrants to remain in the United States without fear of deportation. While the presidents action was applauded by many Democrats who saw it as a way around congressional gridlock on immigration reform, Republicans have opposed it and accused Obama of exceeding the powers granted to the executive branch in the Constitution.
Freshman Republican Carlos Curbelo of Florida, one of a handful of supporters of comprehensive immigration reform in the Republican caucus, told The Daily Beast that while he would have to see the lawsuit, that if its very specific in seeking to hold the Obama Administration for violating the Constitution, I could support it. In his opinion, it needed to be a question of the Constitution not of the policy goals advanced through the actions. But, while Curbelo noted the lawsuit was not unimportant, he was more concerned about an ultimate solution
a series of bills that will address all of our immigration challenges

HMMMM another Boehner lawsuit, that reminds me of...
At the risk of sounding negative wouldn't electing a POTUS who will the reverse the orders be a more realistic option?
if there are any realistic candidates who would do that(there may not be)
In a lawsuit no elected officials are held accountable.
THAT is the reason for this cowardly approach.
<><> controlling unified governorships AND legislatures in 23 states (Ntl Conference of State Legislatures factoid);
<><> Repub governorships: Florida, Tx, Ill, Ohio, Mich, MD, Wisconsin, NC, GA, Mass;
<><> 110 of 140 southern states' election districts went Republican;
<><> Republicans holds 68 of 98 state legislative chambers.
<><> 2015 Republican grip on state government has not been seen since the 1920s.
<><> Republicans hold or share control in nearly every state (7 states' legislature and Governor are Dem-held).
BOEHNER NEEDS TO GO THIS ROUTE: Rhonda Cook one of the ace Atlanta Journal Constitution reporters bird-dogged the corrupt Atlanta teachers story.
Cook reported that the 1980 Georgia General Assembly was concerned about the increasing sophistication of various criminal elements on the public payroll. The Assembly then adopted the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO), patterned after a similar federal law.
(RICO is often used to try to prove that a legal business was being used for illegal means, and, in at its inception, RICO was used to prosecute drug traffickers or organized crime members).
In recent years prosecutors have applied RICO to government officials accused of using their offices for personal gain---he activites of former and current Atlanta public school officials.
To bring a case under Georgias RICO law, there must be at least two underlying felonies such as fraud, bribery, witness tampering (among other felonies).
RICO allows prosecutors to include multiple defendants charged with various crimes in the blanket indictment, and to charge that govt employees, publicy-funded and publicly-traded entities were allegedly part of an ongoing criminal enterprise...
......such as local govt welfare offices, state and/or county assistance programs, education resources, lending, banking, credit cards, and the like.
The LIVs understand lawsuits—As such, it makes them think GOP-e “leaders” are actually doing something.
My preference is Gatling guns at 20 paces.
” HMMMM another Boehner lawsuit, “
Boner: “ Tea Party can go to hell. My overlords demand amnesty”
Boner is an idiot who needs a kick in the vagina.
But he's suing Obama to stop it ....!!???
Obama has got him madder than hell
Oh Goody, this should run it’s course in 15 or 20 years.
” Obama has got him madder than hell”
LOL....
Boner: “ Where the hell is my bottle of 30 year old scotch you promised me, you purple lipped faggot! “
The Democrat Party is one criminal organization.
The squishy Cheeto is no leader.
In other words, The Speaker is such a WUSS that he refuse to use his Constitutional Authority to reign the Executive Branch, so we will kindly ask the Judicial Branch to do OUR JOB FOR US, because we are weak and squishy.!
