The government is forcing one of Dr. Oz's favorite supplement peddlers to pay out $9 million to consumers after making deceptive and unsubstantiated claims about weight loss products.
In December, researchers writing in the British Medical Journal examined the health claims showcased on 40 randomly selected episodes of the two most popular internationally syndicated health talk shows, The Dr Oz Show and The Doctors.
What they found was disappointing but not exactly surprising: about half of the health recommendations had either no evidence behind them or they actually contradicted what the best-available science tells us.

One hoaxter versus another?
Dr. Mohamat Oz
Wait, you can’t take a pill and magically lose weight? I’m shocked!
Well, actually you can. It’s called methamphetamine. There are some issues in procuring it and possessing it though...
And keeping your teeth....
And a pox upon Vox...
You have to give THEIR page a click to find out that THIS particular hoax is the GreenCoffee Bean extract pill (as opposed to the acai, etc pills).
That’s the beauty of it, though. No teeth, no food. It’s foolproof.
Paging Oprah lofo voting idiots.
Clenbuterol.
How did he piss off Obama?
Government confirms one of Dr. Oz's favored diet pills is a total hoax

I get a kick out of disclaimers like, 'We have no idea how it does what it does" or "Might be 100 times worse on you than the malady it treats".
How about botox for migraines because it averages a reduction by 9 migraines a month where the placebo only reduces them by 7 a month - what a reason to put a poison in your system.
That said, I need to stop by GNC today to get my alpha male supplements...
Oz reports on medical science. Medical science is damn close to astrology. Don’t blame the messenger.
Now to Dr. Oz. He is in it for the profit. My company wanted to appear on the show with our supplement. We presented our research and as one would expect Dr Oz wanted to independently verify the findings. OK so far- right? However, his charge to verify was substantially higher than our research cost. Again, no issue with a guy making a buck, but how independent can you be when you over charge- it is a payt to play scheme.
So I would like to see Dr. Oz's independent research on Green Coffee Beans.
That renders the rest of the article meaningless.
FDA thinks so they just approved a new obesity drug.

SIL, chose the gastric surgery, which would let him lose weight slower, and not have the bagging skin to be surgically removed later. He is now a Trim 200 lb vs 400 lb. Since is he well over 6’, it is a perfect target weight. But it to has draw backs when you do eat.
Take Steroids, Lyrica or several other drugs and you will gain weight, Which is hard to come off.
Whatever happened to just going outside and exercising ?
Note how all the males on The Docotos are all hot and young.
