This is a case when I agree that a lawsuit putting these clowns out of business is justified.
Those idiots made so many mistakes it is downright scary.
Shes got a lot of money already.
Would be surprised if she donates any settlement to charity.
Your experience is not the norm.
Mine was either proporfol or a general. With propofol, you wake up and you can go. The general makes you groggy for the rest of the day.
I go P whenever I have something done. (Not that often.)
We do know who was in the room:
A foreign medical grad anesthesiologist.
Propofol should never be used by anyone who is not a trained anesthesia provider. Unfortunately in this case, the anes provider didn’t do their job. I agree with the FReeper who said Joan was a victim of VIP syndrome. I treat every patient exactly the same because the minute you deviate from that, that’s when the crap hits the fan and you make mistakes. Such a shame.
They’re not kidding, LOL!
I had to go back a second time because I had severe stomach pains that turned out to be gastritis. I thought I was going to have to take myself to the ER. It was that bad.
It felt like a punch to the gut and the muscle pains from intense bouts of vomiting.
She’d much rather have her mother back!
And the money is going to bring her back???
IMO, this is not a frivolous lawsuit.
Of course its not, just who pays the suit? the insurance company, who pays the insurance company? If a crime happened then charge the guilty party with a crime not raise insurance rates for all the rest.
No argument here. It’s easier to get a lawyer to sue than to get charges brought in a case like this...
