Then don’t get he flu shot, if you don’t think it works,. Personal choice. I’ve been getting the shot for the last ten years, beginning the year after I got the flu and and missed Christmas, New Years, my birthday, and about two weeks of work. I have not contracted the flu since I started getting the shot.

I completely agree. The whole family got the flu every year and when they stopped using a live virus we started getting the flu shot. We have not had the flu since getting the vaccine. A couple of years ago I got a weird skin reaction within 30 minutes of getting a flu shot. The doctor thought it was the preservative so ever since then I have insisted on preservative free vaccine and I have not had the skin reaction again.
