With a snowstorm of “historic” proportions heading toward NYC, we took a look back at some of the biggest blizzards to hit the city.
Only two of those New York storms dropped more snow than the record set in South Carolina Feb. 9/ 1973 and there was less than a two inch difference. All the rest were well below the South Carolina record. Eight people froze to death in SC in that storm.
