A very emotional Rush is talking about his friend and chief of staff Kit Carson, who passed away after a four-year battle with brain cancer.

This is so sad. Did Rush say he was only 58 years old?

I've known far too many people (of all ages) who have lost their battles with brain cancer. :-(

Rest in Peace, Kit....

I remember learning of his cancer, during the Leukemia Radio-a-thon, years ago (when he was diagnosed).

I’m pretty sure he had a Glioblastoma. My mom died 30+ years ago of a glio, and when I hear of someone having brain cancer their story stays with me.

Rush is doing a beautiful rememberance of Kit. May it console his family.

My niece’s new father-in-law was diagnosed with brain cancer a month before her very recent wedding. He’s in his early 50’s. I don’t know which kind, but hearing of Carson’s battle made me think it will be a really tough run for them.

God bless Kit Carson’s soul and bring comfort to his family.
