No pol says he’s for amnesty, but even in your article Walker stipulates that he would enforce the border by simply letting people come in legally, rather than having to bother with breaking laws. The second of my links about clarifies that.
The first of my links above confirms that he supports amnesty, and not only amnesty, but amnesty to the level of giving the current lawbreakers here citizenship. He tries to find wiggle room in that his concurring that he’d eventually give them citizenship was a response to a hypothetical that had them first granted legal residency and solved border problems by letting everyone simply come in through the “front door”.
Walker is radically pro-amnesty.
Troubling, if true, from the 1st article (found it on Google). And from the 2nd article, too. If that’s his true position, he’ll go the way of Rubio - now a GOPe darling - but Conservatives will shun him. I hadn’t read these articles before... he’s very, very disappointing, if what he’s quoted as saying is true.
