I just don't understand why we have not frogwalked this tyrant and his ambrosia-eating family out of the Whitehouse already...
Oh, I know why... the majority of voters in this nation are consumers, takers, and destroyers... not the producers, givers, and creators of yesteryear.
Going Galt, soon.
“One observation: The numbers of people that agree with the subject of his diatribe grow every year...”
I think it’s actually cyclic, and swinging away from “money for nothing” at the moment.
“I found it amusing when the OWS squatters tried to set up communes where no one had personal property...”
I especially liked the part when the professional homeless came in to take their share of the goodies.
We shall see.
On the west coast there are 3 states hell-bent on unilaterally passing their own ‘climate change’ agenda locally. I don’t share your optimism. Neither about ‘16...quite the contrary, actually (see tagline).
My maid--a truly fine and very religious woman--told me about homeless people whom her church was helping financially. I told her to send them to me, that I have work they can do and would pay them well. One showed up. He worked for a day; I paid him well; he never came back. None of the others was interested.
"I could go on a long diatribe about all the burgers I flipped and the toilet stalls I mopped over my nearly 35 years of work, but I dont need to justify my right to my own property or the fruits of my labor. Its mine, not the liberals. Thats all that matters whether I got what I have because I built a company or had super rich parents who handed it to me or because I won the lotto is, frankly, none of anyones business.
Whats mine is . . . mine. Not yours. Go get your own. Keep your grubby mitts off mine."
You'll never see the Clintons, the Pelosis or ELizabeth Warren dumping their bank account at the local food bank.
You’re right. That was an excellent article.
I’m actually not so optimistic as you might perceive. I believe the pendulum spends most if not all of its time on the left, and swings deeply that way, while only swinging back toward the right, not actually past the middle. It will probably result in massive bloodshed or the attrition of the old patriots that are still armed.
That is if something isn’t done about the water inside the Beltway.
The only possible outcome is that it will completely dilute the current value of such an education.
That will put many community college profs out of business.
This was flat out terrific. Brilliant!
