Daily some “authority” says the violence emanating from islamsists is not islamic. That it must be so often repeated marks it as part of a big lie.

I tried to find the 2004 campaign rhetoric where Kerry said that we would have to accept some level of terrorism in our lives.
I didn’t find it but I did find a 2008 lecture where he said that we needed to win the hearts and minds, not the wars.
He said that Al Qaeda is in something like 60 countries. If the muslims in 60 countries don’t give a damn about the terrorists in their midst (and WE somehow have not done enough to show them what’s right and wrong) then Islam itself is beyond all redemption in the modern world.
