For some reason , which I just cannot understand we allow every one to vote. People who do not have any skin in the game; such as 18 year olds, non property owners, non veterans, none business owners, non workers, and the list goes on ad nauseaum.
Only people who have demonstrated a willingness, and the ability to take charge of their own lives and make those difficult decisions, financial and professional in their own lives should be allowed to vote.
22 years old and live at home with mommy&daddy?—NO VOTE.
Unemployed because you are to stupid or lazy to get a job?—NO VOTE.
Not a veteran, never enlisted, even when it was safe?—NO VOTE.
On welfare for more than 2 years?—NO VOTE.
On food stamps for more than 2 years?—NO VOTE.
Never started a business, or worked in private business? NO VOTE.
Are you a felon or a repeat misdomeaner offender—NO VOTE.
And I am sure there are a few I have neglected to mention.
