I’m beginning to wonder whether we should have an Executive head of government in the form of a President. During the past 20 or so years, we’ve seen mostly bad things from that branch of government.

As a matter of fact, if you look back through the history of the country, beginning with Lincoln, they have done more harm than good, with a few exceptions.

Just thinking out loud here. I’m probably being stupid. I don’t know....

An idea worth considering, although not without drawbacks.

Parliamentary systems work that way. The “Prime Minister” is a voting member of the legislature who serves at its pleasure. He can be replaced overnight.

That’s why Netanyahu is not Israel’s “head of state” as he is repeatedly called by the MSM. He is “equal” to Speaker Boehner.

Reuven Rivlin is the head of state of Israel, “equal” to our President.
