Yes, Clint Eastwood’s biopic of the late Chris Kyle, the most lethal sniper in U.S. military history with 160 confirmed kills over four tours of Iraq, has captured the fascination of the American public, earning a whopping $135 million-plus in less than two weeks of wide release, as well as 6 Oscar nominations, including Best Picture and Best Actor for Bradley Cooper’s committed portrayal of Kyle.
It’s also proved divisive, with Hollywood stars like Seth Rogen and Michael Moore making colorful comments about the film (both have since apologized, claiming their statements were taken out of context), and critics being split on whether the film is jingoistic, anti-war, or both.
Enter provocateur Bill Maher.
On Friday’s episode of his HBO series Real Time with Bill Maher, the outspoken satirist pondered whether Kyle was a “hero or not,” and revealed he’s decidedly anti-American Sniper.

What took him so long?
Maher, Olbermann and O’Donnell are classic examples of bullies who never got their a$$es properly kicked when they were young. I used to volunteer my services to attend to these left wing pricks 40 years ago. Too old now : )

OK, Bill Maher, from now on, instead of using surgical snipers to remove enemy threats, we’ll use 105mm rounds and blast out the entire building or buildings nearby the same threats.
Same tactics used since the Civil War and one of the reasons civilian casualties always surpass military casualties in the battle zone.
It’s also manifest by refugees leaving their family homes held for generations when battles come to their homeland.
Snipers save lives in MOUT.

I read the book.
Kyle definitely had serious problems in his personal life.
And he was exactly the kind of guy you wanted defending your country.
War truly is hell, and his problems were not unique.
RIP and screw Bill Maher.
maher is simply a narcissist who likes to get patted on the back by his Hollywood buddies when he says shocking things.

The story of Chris Kyle isn't about what an amazing shot he was, or even that he had that many confirmed kills. The story is about what he was willing to endure for his peers and his country.

Maher, like Moore, hides behind his body guards. Oh how I wish someone would go on his show as a “Manchurian guest” and knock the crap out of the little ugly creep. And right after Maher’s butt hits the floor the guy should say “You’re the ugliest person I’ve ever punched. In fact, it’s the ugliness of your face that makes my fist hurt.”
The term he wants is Sociopath but he's to damn stupid to know that one before
he gets shoved into the oven by his own support group.
