That might be the percentage of gays on TV.
Unfortunately real life is passing her by. In my work it is 0%.
This is true!
If a steak is great, I don’t mind paying even more than that.
I don’t do that often, because I fix nearly as good steaks at home. What I can’t do is the ‘aging’ of the cuts that they do. That requires some expertise and proper facilities. THAT’S the big difference for the great steak restaurants.
They cut and keep those steaks in rooms that are a certain temperature/humidity/environment for weeks, and they appear damn near rotted, but they aren’t. I think they cut away the exterior, and they are ready for the grill. After that process, they have the best flavor, and are melt in your mouth tender.
In the case of Ruth’s Chris, they have patented ovens/methods used to cook their steaks, which sets them apart from many. I’m SURE there are better ones out there though.
Is it any wonder that robot, drones and outsourcing are being considered for entry level and low level govt jobs? Eliminates law suites, ad nauseum complaining, loud talking, cursing, and the other blessings associated with the characters of such individuals, not to mention work might even get done. I watched millions spent on diversity training and other social related projects when we should have been concentrating on business, not convincing someone to distrust what they see, hear, observe and know to be true. I was let go when I asked on my yearly employee survey if we were a business or social organization?
Us mortals can’t buy restaurant quality beef. The very best beef is reserved for commercial sales only. I used to deal in restaurant supply and I know this to be true. What you can get at the very best grocery stores is still not restaurant quality. It’s good but not the best. Not all beef is the same.
I am white, and some McDonald’s I go to, even in the suburbs, are awful. The workers (black) either don’t understand me, always get the order wrong, or laugh at me. I now try to avoid them unless (even) further from the city, where there are nice white kids who at least act respectful to this middle-aged guy...
Maybe immigrants who run the place?
To be honest, Ruths Chris cooked the best filet I have ever had.
Same here!
I think their Lobster is as good as their steaks, and I don’t even like seafood! lol

Thank you for reminding me of that.
“I try to make a habit of not eating somewhere that has employees that live in a trailer park or housing project....
Criticizing actions and appearance is fine.
Criticizing their type of residence is snobbery.

If they knew anything about their history, they would know that Baltimore citizens attacked Union troops passing through the city to protect DC and that Lincoln himself had to take many extra precautions when changing trains there to get to his own inauguration. They would also know the Maryland legislature was pro South and would have taken the state out of the union had Lincoln not thrown many of them in jail.
