I attended a Fangoria Horror convention some years ago. Several of the leading directors/producers were conducting seminars on their techniques. More than one said never put green (makeup or lighting) on a black person. I can see why.
LOL! Hey you know I remember that, Fangoria. Wasn’t that like a magazine for horror special effects? I remember buying a magazine that had The Thing on the cover which to this day is my all time favorite horror movie. I’m talking about the 1980s version with Kurt Russell. The special effects in that were mind blowing, and this was well before CGI. I saw the remake of the remake a few years ago WITH CGI and it didn’t even come close to the 1980s version. That movie is a masterpiece.
