“As a matter of long-standing practice and principle, we do not see heads of state or candidates in close proximity to their elections, so as to avoid the appearance of influencing a democratic election in a foreign country,” White House National Security Council spokeswoman Bernadette Meehan said in a statement today. “Accordingly, the president will not be meeting with Prime Minister Netanyahu because of the proximity to the Israeli election, which is just two weeks after his planned address to the U.S. Congress.”

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing, particularly those who represent “Jewish districts.” You wonder what guys like Upchucky Schumer and other Jews in The Congress will do who come from heavily Jewish areas. Will they walk?
They are screwed either way as I see it.
Obama’s snubs and disdain for Bibi does nothing more than raise his standing among the Israeli people.
And his standing with us. Obama and the stupid people can go to _ _ _ _! Can’t wait until we rid ourselves of the vermin in the white house. Some say we should respect the office of the President and while I do, there is not an ounce of respect I can gather for the pathetic, thin skinned, sham who inhabits the position at present.
I’d see it as a badge of honor to be unwelcomed by that crew.

I suspicion the White Hut was informed that Bibi wouldn’t be ‘stopping by’ - and this is the lamest excuse O’b ummer could come up with -

Netanyahu’s first visit to the White Hut - made to enter the servant’s entrance -
Another time - Obama left him waiting for 2 hours past appointment time while HE, the “WON” went to lunch with the family. Netanyahu was offered no lunch.
And demanding Israel give up it’s lands to pre-1040’s - essentially, all it’s defensive capabilities.

Only one of MANY deliberate snubs to Netanyahu.
So Netanyahu should pay any attention to ‘protocol’ -
Like O’bummer OR his wife, know or abide by protocol. A combination of ignorance and in-your-face to leaders around the world.
And NOW, O’bummer is incensed and vowing pay-back - it’s the Chicago way. What a great leader - in his own mind only.
He’s probably getting ready for another u-tube vid to connect with millenials.
