Republicans close to both Mr. Romney and Mr. Bush were notably tight-lipped about the long-planned meeting, which the two would-be candidates and their advisers were unhappy had been revealed publicly.Mitt: "Okay, Jeb, they are on to me. I have zero chance. But I believe I can help you win."
Jeb: "How?"
Mitt: "I run far to your left. I am not trying to win, I'm just trying to give you credentials for looking more ... .hehehehehe... 'conservative'.... the idiots will eat it up."
Jeb: "Nice! You need anything in return?"
Mitt: "A Cabinet position would be pretty neat."
Jeb: "Done."
