I have to say, the al-Sauds look pretty elegant, compared to Bill Gates.

With all of his money, one would think he could afford a suit that fits and a decent haircut. He still looks like a geek.

I think it has to do with the “eternal adolescent” pose of the techno-guy. Having a good, well-fitting suit and a flattering haircut would imply that you’re no longer a hip youngster.
