I know...even with their dresses Muslim Leaders have a masculine look where Europeans and western leaders have lost the He man look.
A gown - whatever your cultural term - for a man or a woman gives control over one’s bodily presentation in a way other garments can’t. I’m an admirer of a man in an elegant suit, but he looks best when standing, not sitting ... and especially not sitting on a “Shoot, my knees are up to my chin!” Arabian divan.
I suspect the Saudis get a chuckle out of it.
