That is not true.

Every worker pays at a very minimum 15% of their income to the Federal government in the form of payroll taxes to support the duel pyramid scams of Social Security and Medicare. It is split between the employer and employee, but the employee really pays it all. Add in a tax rate of only 5% and you already have 20% of your income confiscated by force of arms.

Many people could drop one job if they had a 20% increase in pay.
