This article is very misleading. It implies in the hedline that this is a done deal. But a quick reading shows this bill has only so far passed the State Senate. I suspect this amendmnet has a long road before it is passed by the voters.
Republicans control at least 60 of the 99 Assembly seats. The senate was where there were potential challenges. the assembly will pass this without a problem.
