The first three principles described in chapter 2 of the Communist Manifesto, (written in 1848 by Marx and Engels) are:
1. Take control of and redistribute assets
2. A heavy progressive or graduated Income Tax
3. Abolition of all rights of inheritance
That about sums up Obama’s 2015 SOTU.
Government redistribution will not help the poor. History has shown redistribution of wealth makes all poor, and overall poverty is one of the results of living in a government that controls wealth production.
When a government claims the “right” to “redistribute” the wealth produced by others, it claims the “right” to treat human beings as slaves of the government – not free people anymore. This is communism.
The meaning of the “redistribution” of wealth is official government stealing.
